Scan speed of 40 PPM / 80 IPM

The AD240U performs at scan rates of 60 pages per minutes in simplex mode and 120 images per minutes in duplex mode at 200 dpi in color mode. Additionally, it can scan 40 pages per minutes in simplex mode and 60 images per minutes in duplex mode at 300 dpi in color mode. The scanner has an auto-crop feature that allows various size pages to be scanned together without having to worry about spending time on formatting images after a document scan.

A Duplex Scanner that adapts to Documents and Cards

The advanced straight paper path and image processing technology can easily handle mixed batches of documents with various sizes and weights. A mix of different documents can be scanned together, cropped, deskewed, and automatically formatted on your computer. Scan size accepts paper from 2” x 2” (50 x 50mm) to receipts, 9.5” x 14” (242 x 256 mm) business documents and more. The auto document feeder is robust enough to feed paper up to 110 lbs. (413 g/m2) and embossed cards such as ID cards, credit cards, driver’s license, and health insurance cards that are up to 1.25 mm in thickness.

Reverse Roller Enhances Feeding Reliability

Designed with the innovative reverse roller for advanced paper separation capability, the AD240U delivers outstanding feeding reliability and operating productivity by effectively reducing the risk of a multi-feed or paper jam.

Ultrasonic Multi-Feed Detection

The ultrasonic multi-feed detection scanning feature detects paper thickness between documents. This technology prevents double feeding and scans documents of different weights or thickness giving the user a hands off efficient approach to scanning. The ultrasonic function can be turned off when scanning non-conventional documents with sticky notes, labels or taped receipts.

Space Saving Design

The AD240U has a clean stylish design, the input and output paper tray can be folded to save desk space.
